Gravity Moon Mid Stage WIP

An image from about half a year ago, maybe 9 months.
The Gravity Moon project is truly a labor of love, or obsession, and determining between the two will yield no fruitful insight.

The project started with a friend pitch: "Hey man, do you think you could design something for my band?"
A: Yes.

The image itself has taken over a year to complete because of three factors:
  1. Image size
  2. Technique - cross hatching
  3. Available time to work - This is a lunchtime project, meaning i get about 2-4 times a week, at 15 - 60 mins each time i sit down; plus, i do it in the company lunchroom, so there are some distractions with that.

Showing the initial sketches of the rings and nearby planet, which started out quite misshapen
